Your Journey

God created people out of His generosity so they could know Him, enjoy Him, and reflect His greatness (Genesis 1:26-31). He placed humanity in a perfect world, but people chose to go their own way. That choice—called sin—broke the relationship between people and God (Genesis 3).

Sin brought pain, suffering, and death into the world (Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23). But God’s purpose for humanity didn’t change. He revealed a plan to restore what was lost.

That plan is the central story of the Bible. God sent His Son, Jesus, to live among us, die for our sins, and rise again (John 3:16; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4). Through Him, we can be forgiven and made new.

This gift is not automatic. It’s personal. The Bible says, “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9).

Confessing Jesus as Lord means surrendering your life to Him—turning from your way to His (Luke 9:23). Believing means trusting in what Jesus did through His death and resurrection (Ephesians 2:8-9).

So what now?

If you feel drawn to this message, that’s God reaching out to you (John 6:44). Talk to Him. Ask for forgiveness. Tell Him you’re ready to follow Jesus and trust Him with your life.

Ready to respond?

If you do, God gives you His Spirit to guide and grow you (Romans 8:14-16). You’ll begin to see change—love, joy, peace, and more (Galatians 5:22-23). You’ll begin to live the life God designed for you (Romans 12–15).
